Photo print of the public utility box artwork I painted of Peig Sayers in Tralee town. Peig grew up in post-Famine poverty and survived huge hardship on the Great Blasket to become one of the most important folklorists and chroniclers of Irish life in our island's history, and one of the most prominent female voices.
