"Yesterday I dared to struggle - today I dare to win”.

Bernadette Delvin McAliskey is an Irish civil and human rights activist who was a leader of the civil rights movement in the North. She was elected as an MP at age age 21, clattered the Home Secretary when he claimed British soldiers on Bloody Sunday acted "in self-defence", was shot by paramilitaries, awarded the key to New York City, which she presented to the Black Panthers “as a gesture of solidarity with the black liberation”, and became an all-round legend in the struggle for rights and freedom.
